Handles look friendly. Machines want the stable UC channel ID. Analytics connectors, RSS, comment moderation scripts, and many dashboards still require it. This finder pulls a UC ID from URLs that already contain one, and it highlights IDs if you paste a snippet from a page source or share dialog.
Resolving a bare @handle to a UC ID requires YouTube’s API or a redirect. We do not scrape logged-in YouTube. If you only have a handle, use the on-page guidance to copy the ID from YouTube Studio (Your channel → Advanced) or from a /channel/ URL after YouTube redirects.
How to use this tool

- Copy the normalized ID.

Where to copy an ID inside YouTube
YouTube Studio → Settings → Channel → Advanced settings shows the channel ID. On a public channel, View page source and search for “channelId” often reveals it — only do this on pages you are allowed to inspect. Never paste passwords or cookies into this site.

- Channel IDs start with UC and are 24 characters total in the common form.
- Video IDs are 11 characters — do not mix them up.
