Thumbnails and third-party images

The thumbnail downloader points at public YouTube CDN URLs from a video ID you supply. We do not keep a gallery of other people’s artwork on our servers as a default product feature. If you believe a page of ours is hosting your work without permission, write to hello@made4youtube.com with the URL, a description of the work, and a statement that you are authorized to act.

DMCA-style notice contents

If you are sending a formal notice, include: your contact details; identification of the copyrighted work; the exact URL on made4youtube.com; a statement of good-faith belief; a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or agent; and your physical or electronic signature. We will assess notices in good faith. Repeat abuse of the process may be ignored.

Counter-notice

If we remove material you believe was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury, consent to jurisdiction as applicable, and your signature.

YouTube copyright tools

Claims about videos on YouTube must go through YouTube’s own copyright process. We cannot action Content ID disputes.
