What the tools process

Most widgets run in your browser. Titles, descriptions, images you select for dimension checks, and calculator inputs are not required to be uploaded to our server to function. If your browser sends a page request, our web host will typically log a standard access line (IP address, user agent, path, time) for security and reliability.

Local storage

The dark/light theme preference is stored in localStorage under a Made 4 YouTube key on your device. You can clear it with your browser settings.

Contact form

If you submit the contact form, we process your name, email, and message to reply. Do not send passwords or government IDs. Email is handled by the server’s mail configuration and any inbox we use at hello@made4youtube.com.

QR images

The QR helper may request a third-party image API with the URL you typed. That third party has its own privacy policy. Prefer clean, non-personal URLs.

Cookies and analytics

This site may set a session cookie for contact-form CSRF protection. If we add analytics later, we will update this page and the cookie policy. We do not sell personal information.

Children

The toolkit is aimed at professionals and is not directed at children under 13 (or the digital-consent age in your country).

Your requests

To ask about data we might hold from a contact email, use the contact form. Hosting logs are retained according to the host’s defaults and security needs.

International

If you access the site from outside the server’s region, your request crosses borders. Use the tools only if that is acceptable for your workflow.
